A few weeks ago we reported that construction of the One Stop Center (Chikwanekwane) building at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe had began. Fountain of Life visited the building site yesterday and the building is right on track.

Previously, we found them digging the foundation but almost a month later the building is up and making great progress. The building is scheduled to be finished in December but the foreman on sight explained that if all goes well, they will finish earlier.

The KCH OSC is located outside the main hospital next to the skin clinic but along the road to the main hospital. The Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital OSC in Blantyre is the only fully functional OSC but with this progress, KCH will also have a fully functional OSC. Fountain of Life is the organization providing trauma counseling services, follow up sessions and support group therapy at the OSC and will provide the same services in Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Zomba.

We hope the building will continue making this great progress.
